Stretch ceiling in the mansard: installation features
Unlike conventional ceilings and standard horizontal arrangement, stretch ceilings in the mansard consist of several planes inclined with respect to each other. Therefore, their installation is more specific.
In fact, the stretch ceiling in the mansard (in the attic, under the roof itself) is a designer of several small “ceilings”, since on each ceiling “side” – inclined or horizontal – a separate cascade is installed from the ceiling profile, on which the PVC film is stretched.
All as for a large ceiling, only in this case – for one part of it. After – the same is done for the remaining ceiling sides.
As a result, one large stretch ceiling is obtained, assembled from several small ones.
