Before or after? In what order do repairs and stretch ceiling?
Each customer is worried about the success of installing a stretch ceiling. And the final result depends on the correct sequence of repair work. The main feature of the tensile structure is that it can be installed both during repairs and, if necessary, to update the interior.
Despite the unpretentiousness of the installation, professionals still recommend paying attention to the following points:
- What first: tile on the wall or ceiling?
Ceiling construction should be installed after laying the tiles. It should be laid below the base ceiling by 5 cm, after which the remaining space should be plastered flush with the tile. - What comes first: floor or ceiling?
As a rule, repair work is carried out from the bottom up. Therefore, we first lay the flooring, and then install the ceiling. At the same time, we first cover the floors with cardboard. - What comes first: wallpaper or ceiling?
If you plan to glue wallpaper with a bright pattern on the walls, it is better to first install the ceiling. In other cases, there is no significant difference. - Should all furniture be taken out before installation?
