Types of lighting for stretch ceilings
The peculiarity of installing suspended ceilings is that they must be thought out beforehand, before installing the ceiling structure, or, at the very least, during the installation of the fastening structures.
All because for the withdrawal of the chandelier or decorative lamps it will be necessary to cut openings in the PVC film, and after this procedure it is already impossible to change one’s mind, unless – to order a new cloth.
Chandeliers on stretch ceilings
They are installed either in high rooms (taking into account the indentation of the ceiling tension from the main + height of the chandelier), from 2.8 meters in height, since the distance between the film and incandescent lamps should be from 30-40 cm. Or, instead of classical chandeliers, lamps with ice-lamps, which are not heated and are safe for PVC linen:
Decorative spotlights for stretch ceilings
They can be either a basic or an additional light source, depending on their quantity. Beautiful, cost less than chandeliers, do not heat up, because they also use led lamps. Can visually increase the space of the room:
LED-tape for ceiling tension lighting
Such a led-tape is used for additional illumination of the ceiling along the perimeter. It gives a soft subdued diffuse lighting, in which it is convenient to watch TV or conduct leisurely conversations.
