Actions and Novelties

We are concerned about customer safety. We are against dangerous gas cylinders when installing a stretch ceiling!

Maybe you heard (or did not hear) scary stories about the installation of a suspended ceiling at the installers exploding gas cylinders, with the help of which the film is heated to stretch it around the perimeter. Such stories sometimes happen – due to the use of dangerous propane cylinders and low qualification of installers.

Why can gas in a cylinder explode?

The risk factor is always a lack of knowledge on how to handle the bottle, or a deliberate neglect of safety standards for the sake of dubious savings.

Non-professionals most often make the following mistakes:

  • More gas is charged into the cylinder than is allowed by its volume – and dangerous pressure arises from the inside.
  • The cylinder is transported at minus temperature (in winter), and then immediately brought into a room warmed up to room temperature – the explosion is provoked by a temperature difference.
  • In addition, irresponsible installers can use much more dangerous propane gas cylinders that explode easily and fly apart in small fragments!

If you ordered a suspended ceiling from a good company that cares about the safety of people, then instead of dangerous propane, only polymer-composite gas cylinders will be used.

Such cylinders have very good fire resistance – during research, they were placed directly in the flame, and the explosion did not occur. Another important quality of this material is its resilience and elasticity. That is, even if the cylinder takes a random blow or falls, a dent will appear on it, but the explosion will not occur.

We use such cylinders in our work!

Our basic rule — the quality of installation work — is guaranteed only by the experience of the craftsmen, therefore in no case should you try to pull the PVC fabric yourself or entrust this task to the familiar “jack of all trades”!
